oh gosh , i've accumulated tons of photos in my iphone but im too lazy to upload them . They are mostly of food though ! i think what makes feel fuzzy inside are good food and pretty clothes . i love the feeling of eating and making my tummy bloated , and to the point where you think you're gonna fall asleep anytime soon . haha , ok i sound like a pig . Eating makes me happy some how , its not exactly a very good thing either.But i pray my metabolism rate does not die on me anything soon . When i am hungry , i start to get a little annoyed and frustrated . I dont know why , but i really dislike the feeling of hunger .

Imagine if i were to be placed in Jesus's shoes and fast for 40 days , and when the devil tries to tempt me into turning the stones into bread . i think i would throw the stones at him instead for being so annoying.hahaha , okay i shouldn't laugh . Seriously , i've noticed something , like if i were to get into a heated argument with my mom or maybe quarrel with bestfriend over something . What would extinguish the fire and maybe tension is food. i dont know if there is a term for it , if you do know , please enlighten me .

someone kill me please , i've got no idea why i started the topic of food , its making me so hungry right now ..... urgh . But over all the food and everything , only God can make me satisfied and filled up to the brim of my mouth . He fills my tummy with spiritual foodddddddddd ^^ i love how God does those amazing things , like answering ridiculous prayers that i pray for sometimes . For example " cancelling of cell group leader training classes " , " praying for taxi " , " praying for no lessons etc " HAHAHA . Best friend has seen and heard me pray these prayers out loud before . He would end up staring and mocking me for being stupid and retarded. then * snap* prayer answered ! <: im so thankful for the results that He has bless me with , like for the amount of time i've spent in church before my common test papers , and compared to the time i spent studying for them . And take note that i dont even know what has been going in class.... really want to thank God for all He has done .

Charis came over in the afternoon and could finally have heart to heart talk with her , catching up on all the action that i've missed in her life . I miss you alot big sister . I would love to visit you in Sydney one day . love you alot !

How awesome is it to spend the count down in church? like you spent the last few hours of the year (2011) listening to sermons , spending time w brothers and sisters in Christ , with the body of Christ and giving praise and worship to the King . One of the most memorable services that i've been to .

afterwhich , it was sleepover at my place w Veronica and charis . We were so zonked out and tired , we did not really take photos ): but we slept at around 4am ? it was total knock out man , slept like a pig though . Then waking up in the morning to the smell of bacon and the chatter from the girls and mom .
If i hadn't gone for night watch , i think i would be at Lao Pa Sat w bestfriend , shawn tay , his girlfriend etc and most probably could mayb meet zozo. I really want to have a stay over at MBS ..pouts !

it was a good year 2011 , full of ups and downs . Sleepless nights and good unforgettable memories ! its a new beginning for all and i too need my new beginning . Oh wells.

he totally made my night , hahaha . i didnt know what we were gonna eat because he came to my rescue at the last moment ( LONG STORY)

thank goodness he knew what would make me happy <: a nice plate of carbonara with bacon , the thought of it already made me happy and it drove all my sadness away .

yeay , my first candle lit dinner (: so glad that i've known Bryan for almost 6 years now? my classmate for 4 years straight and the one who comes to my rescue every now and then SINCE SECONDARY 1 okay , no joke. you've been such a blessing to me and i feel so lucky and blessed to have known you .

SMRT SHOULD TOTALLY HAVE WHAT THE MTR IN HONG KONG HAS. THIS IS WHAT I CALL SMART.

was " devastated" when i asked my mom whether or not she had brought the camera we shared for the trip and she said no. so i had to use my iphone instead , pictures turned out better than expected though . Hong Kong trip with the family before Andrea goes to Brazil for missions , a short family bonding trip was what this family had needed .

first few pictures are taken in Macau , if any of you guys who are reading my blog and are planning to go to Hong Kong , Macau is a must to go to . We went to this Hotel called Venetian ( i think ) , there are free shuttle buses , that will shuttle you to and fro from the ferry terminal to the hotel of your choice . Those of you who dream about going to Venice , can go visit "Venetian" instead . Indoor shopping mall , you'll find shops like ZARA , BERSKA , PULL AND BEAR etc.

After which , you could hop on a cab at either the hotel or ferry terminal and visit the Ruins of St Paul Church . Bustling street filled with street food and shops

what i like about Hong Kong is the little night markets at almost every corner . But they were selling mostly winter wear and its not that cheap .

I feel that bangkok is a better shopping paradise as compared to Hong Kong if you are going for cheap stuff .

if you stay near Tsim Tsar Shui ( i've got no idea how t spell it ) , head to Harbor City ! Just a floor above " zara " is a bakery called " Little Mermaid Bakery " sells the best pastry ever. I've never eaten so much bread in my whole life at one go. Stuffing my face , going back again to buy more . They will replenish the items with freshly baked bread from the oven, imagine sinking your teeth into warm , soft and tasty bread .If you have a sweet tooth , you should go try it .

CARBONARA SPAGHETTI . oh man , i seriously can't wait to get my hands onto some . craving for the one at A3 , maybe i should go to the one at chip bees to try . will cross my fingers ! i want to get what i pay for , and its quite pricey .

i will do a food guide SOON ( after CTS ) as to where to get good spags , i think only veron knows im very fussy about spaghetti about how it should turn out . example , not too much garlic , pepper , not to watery ( specially for carbonara ) , they have to use bacon for the carbonara because to me using ham spoils the whole dish . The texture of the noodles as well as the sauce thats coats it , it should not be too cheesy or too dry . If it is dry , it has to be ultra tasty . A reasonable amount of bacon should be used .. hmms what else . oh for friends who can consume beef . im rather picky about beef Bolognese spaghetti as well . i prefer the sauce to be filled with minced beef than vegetables or tomato sauce?
i know of some stalls that give miserable portion of minced beef in their sauce , oh and it cannot be too watery .

hahahahah mom is gonna use the rudolf hat to rag her colleague tomorrow ! so glad my mom is finally doing crazy things at her work place . so anyway , felt nauseous this morning and did not go for morning service , SERMON WAS BY PASTOR RUSSEL EVANSSSSSSSSSSSSS . OMGOSH . work of the devil, cause me not to go for morning service . cabbed to cck in the afternoon , nearly threw up in the cab . Had cglt then service by rich wilkerman jr ( SP?) , full of encouragement about our walk with God.

1. That actually a relationship with God is very simple , just that over the years we made it complicated.

2. it just hit me that having a spiritual husband is very very very important. like i will be spending the rest of my life with a guy who will be my greatest influence . If the guy cannot support me spiritually , i think we can forget about supporting me emotionally as well . Even if im physically protect , i may not necessarily be spiritually protected . i just wowed at how Pastor rich placed it .
That wives are to submit to their husbands but yet the husbands has to be someone WORTH submitting to . Husbands will die to themselves for their wives , but wives are to WORTH dying for .
i can't wait to see who my future husband will be . hehe. i hope he'll be a eurasian pastor or something . TALL DARK AND HANDSOME . kidding

First up edge conference ! ohmyword , each year the conference will never fail to surprise me , each year the conference brings us to a whole new level about worshipping God , each year they have power pack workshops and pastors to guide us and to give us the boost and encouragement with our walk with God . How can anyone not want to be at the EDGE CONFERENCE .

was a pity i had to miss the last night of conference for Christmas dinner with relatives , we had dinner at 6th ave , some restaurant called a3? im not too sure , but the chef was supposedly from Da paulo . When i saw the pizza , i gasped . i did not expect the pizza to taste & look the same as the Dapaulo pizza bar at Chip Bee garden . i thought the chef will change it a little , anyway , i fell in love with the bacon carbonara . The best carbonara that i've ever eaten , you guys should go give it a try . Its a little pricey , but you get what you pay for . i would not mind going back there for every Christmas gathering instead of hyatt hotel .

ps , if you guys have any recommendations of other pasta joints , do let me know ! im very picky about pasta .

ohmyword , i spent $200 in 2 days . ALL ON FOOD / MOVIE / CABS / AND MORE FOOD.okay i should really really cut down on the cabbing , especially cabbing to school & to town . and back home again because im too lazy to cross the over head bridge and to walk in to the estate . On the lighter note ,i've got one more valid reason to take a cab , because of the rain . i've got no umbrella ( heavy) and i really hate getting my shoes wet . Thats why i think creepers come in handy , if there is a flood anywhere , no worries , you are wearing platforms and you dont have to worry about the inner part of your shoe getting soaked . But , i guess im too tall to wear creepers to school . I'll be too awkwardly tall ? & i would be hovering over my clique. my 1 hour trip spent in town and i spent that amount . Imagine if i had stayed like for half a day .
i did not get for myself anything though , i want so many things but i feel the pinch if i spent it on myself . Is this how people usually feel ?

Things that i still want to do this sem with friends ...

all these things remind me of bff zoe . i miss her alot , i wish i was in the same school as her . i could meet up with her during breaks if possible etc . I want to just walk around town talking to her , i dont mind if we dont talk , cause i guess the silence does not feel awkward anymore .

i miss the volleyball girls as well .the best bunch of girls i've ever met , they are just so real and sincere . i would definitely want some girl bonding time with them .

can't wait to go out with Sam tomorrow though , will be window shopping and stuffing our mouths with food hopefully . OH AND TRY TO DIG OUT WHAT HER PARENTS GOT FOR ME THIS CHRISTMAS . HAHAHAH . TRADE SECRETS . Then we'll head of for dinner with family .

oh and not to forget bryan yeo & veronica . hahaha (: so thankful for the both of them . i love you both very much . thanks for always being there for me whenever i have a screw loose in my head . or when a part of me snaps for that moment . All the people mentioned above have seen me cry , or maybe because i really do get emotional easily .

emotions ... im learning to control them . i feel like crying whenever im confuse , angry or sad. When the whole situation seem out of control i will cry . i cry instantly when i have angry thoughts , i've been told many times before that im mentally weak , i stumble easily .Constantly trying to pick myself up again but falling flat at the next moment . I need more of God's assurance in my life .
I need to trust Him more each day . I kind of struggle with that eh , to put TOTAL TRUST in Him . Like he will pave the way , i know God have better things installed for me ... But ... its the part where i say " God , Im letting everything go . You will handle them , do whatever You want " . urggh , i just can't .... But i did promise God i will let them go bit by bit .

but Jesus gave his life for all of us , but some of us do not even know Him .

How could someone die for people that in return may not even know of Him.

He died because he saw what laid ahead which was YOU AND ME . He saw that if he died , our sins would be washed away and forgiven . He made the way for us to Heaven through Christ himself .

His love for us is far greater than our love for each other . We can never love someone as much as how God loves us . Thats why Jesus could endure all the pain and suffering he had to go through .

Can never thank You enough for what You went through for me .

have been working at frolick - bugis . as well as relief teaching BRPS .
im kind of enjoying myself though , making sure i instill godly values into my students .
this school really need God's hand over it .
rebelliousness in each student , strong hold that is over the school . majority of the students coming from broken homes , foster care and a centre where abandon kids stay at .
Majority of the kids are malay and indians , but they are the ones not giving the most trouble . but the chinese kids are. Being the minority of the population but yet their voices are the one controlling the class . instilling fear into every single classmate there .
stupid chinese boys , they dont know what they are getting themselves into .
i've been through primary school and i know what goes on .
Gonna make a difference in their life although i will just be there for one more week .
such a torture to keep having to change moods half the time ,
one moment i m angry , the next i have to be soft spoken to another kid . not wanting to inflict unnecessary fear into another innocent kid .
they are like draining the life out of me , but gonna rely on God's strength to bring me through , to have compassion for every child and to see the good in them .

Sigh , how i wish i could spend all of my days with church friends and in church serving the Lord .
no other worries and problems to handle .
or at least im worrying for stuff that is worth worrying for . Like , worrying or having a burden for people whom have yet to know about God.
I just want to surround myself with christ like people ,
admiring the life a pastor leads . Well its not an easy one , but its one with God 24/7 .
I just want to thank God that im learning to put my trust in Him , more than never before .
How a problem arises for example friendships?
I turn to God first , where i lay my problems and whom i complain to all the time .
i do complain to certain friends but above it all . Its God whom i put my total trust in .
God will never fail me , ever . I do make mistakes till , and i make mistakes all the time .
but i guess i just ask God for a heart of forgiveness and a change in my mindset and how i think .
How sad it is that , i've got a thousand over friends but none can truly be there for me .
Only God can.
none can truly make me whole .
none can truly make me feel happy
none can truly speak to my heart and soul
none can truly read my thoughts
none can truly listen without judging
none can have both talk and action .
only God can .

For those reading my blog , yes my God speaks to me . The holy spirit will speak to me .
its mind boggling. Its not my ownself talking but its truly God .
I've experience the power of what God can do in so many different ways .

i think i've been like a frog in a well for 18 years of my life. i've never walked around the singapore river , the flyer , esplanade , laopasat or explore all these places at night . like walking from raffles city to vivo city. exploring the busy roads of singapore. maybe i've walked along the singapore river from the floating platform pass the esplanade ( that was the day of the closing ceremony for YOG w joelyap ) i pretty much did enjoy myself though .

im just very amazed at how fashion seem to recycle itself , i still can remember the period whereby " the lower your pants or shorts " the cooler you are . If you wore your pants / skirt way up high , you'll be labelled a dork or a geek. then there was the hipster jeans period , that your jeans / skirt / shorts had to be dangling or resting on your hips . anyway , high waisted shorts is trending now but not for long though .

how to wear or pull of high waisted shorts ( anyone can pull it off but its how you wear it )

1) crop top please . crop top should only be worn w high waisted jeans , shorts , skirt .
2) either that tuck in your long blouse , shirt , whatever. ( if not no one will ever know that the shorts you're wearing are high waisted )
3)that your ass isn't showing . make sure it covers your butt please.
4) point to take note : dont get one with so many buttons on it , i had one black topshop highwaisted , it had 7 buttons , and when nature calls , you'll be doom for . unless you have super speed fingers. then be my guest (:

one of my highwaisted shorts , i happily bought it from the salvation army @ $20 .

its not that cheap cuz it was previously a pair of vintage high waisted jeans from Espirit .

stayed for a short while before heading down to beach road ,

it was along the way , bff insisted on alighting and get something to munch .

ate at a hongkong restaurant , ordered too much and had to takeaway .
